Landlord Reminders
- You must report the following:
- Lease violations
- Unauthorized person(s)
- Illegal activity
- Tenant move-outs
- Tenant death
- Impending foreclosure actions
- Pending change of ownership
- Contact information changes
- You MAY NOT charge nor accept additional rental amounts other than what is listed on the HAP Contract/most recent Adjustment Notification
- You MAY NOT enter into any leases for the subsidized unit that have not been approved by the housing agent
- You must enforce the terms of the lease
- You must provide RPI Management, Inc. with copies of notices provided to the tenant regarding lease violations and/or notices to vacate
- Failure to make repairs to a subsidized unit by the deadline date will result in abatement of the rent for up to 60 days at which point the contract will be terminated if repairs have not been verified as completed.
